SIGMA 35mm 1.4 Art

Nach langer Überlegung und Sparphase ist nun endlich das neueste Mitglied meines Equipments da und ab sofort für Shootings im Einsatz: das SIGMA 35 mm f/1,4 DG HSM.

Doch Moment mal… SIGMA? Richtig gelesen und, obwohl ich eigentlich Fan und Freund von Canons L-Serie und den schicken roten Ringen bin, muss ich sagen, dass das SIGMA im Bereich der 35mm Linsen definitiv die beste Wahl derzeit darstellt. Hier kann das (schon lange nicht mehr aktualisierte Canon Pendont) 35er leider nicht mithalten… Nicht zuletzt beim Preis trumpft das SIGMA Objektiv deutlich auf, da es für knapp die Hälfte des Canon-Preises zu haben ist.

Das Objektiv bietet bei einer Brennweite von 35mm und einer Blende von f/1.4 perfekte Möglichkeiten für People-Shootings auch in totaleren Einstellungen, ohne auf das weiche Bokeh und die geringe Tiefenschärfe verzichten zu müssen. Zusätzlich ermöglicht die extreme Lichtstärke von f/1.4 das arbeiten bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen, was gerade bei Innenaufnahmen sehr von Vorteil ist.

Ich freue mich schon auf die ersten Shootings mit dem neuen 35er von SIGMA…

In Kürze ist es endlich soweit und die Webseite arnold-photography.de geht online und wird freigeschaltet. Nach längeren Überlegungen hat dieses Projekt nun endlich Realität angenommen und ich versuche, aus meinem Hobby der Fotografie ein kleines Business aufzubauen.

Bereits seit über 10 Jahren habe ich die Fotografie für mich entdeckt und so im Laufe der Jahre immer mehr an Erfahrung gewinnen können im Umgang mit verschiedenen digitalen Kameras. Angefangen hat die Leidenshaft für schöne Fotos mit meiner ersten “großen” Kamera, der SONY F828: zu damaliger Zeit eine wirklich tolle Kamera, mit der ich viel Spaß und Freude hatte, wenn sie auch keine Spiegelreflexkamera war.
Nach einigen Jahren mit der F828 führte mich mein fotografischer Weg dann zu den digitalen Spiegelreflexkameras von CANON: hier war meine erste Kamera die EOS 20D, mit der ich dann erste Erfahrungen mit digitalen Spiegelreflexkameras sammeln konnte und im Laufe der Zeit auch die Vorliebe für CANON-Kameras immer weiter wuchs.
2-3 Jahre später stieg ich dann von der EOS 20D auf die EOS 40D um, da diese aus technischer Sicht einige interessante Neuerungen mit sich brachte und ich auch schon immer begeisterter Technik-Fan war. Auch mit dieser Kamera zog ich dann einige Zeit durch die Gegend und konnte mein Wissen und meine Erfahrungen weiter ausbauen.
Der “finale” Schritt war dann vor ca. 1 Jahr (Ende 2011) der Umstieg auf die “Königsklasse” und das lange im Blick gehabte Traummodel von CANON, die EOS 5D Mark II. Diese Kamera macht einfach nur Spaß und legt die Messlatte im Bereich der digitalen Fotografie sehr hoch und überzeugt durch ein perfektes Handling, vielseitige Einsatzmöglichkeiten und natürlich die technischen Features. Kaum ein Wunsch bleibt hier offen.
Durch den Wechsel in die “Einstelligen” CANON Modellreihe folgte dann noch der Umstieg im Bereich der Objektive, denn der Beste Kamerabody kann nur das abbilden, was die Optik einfängt und so war es nur eine frage der Zeit, bis hier auch neue Objektive angeschafft werden mussten, um das Potential der 5D Mark II ausnutzen zu können.
So kamen dann im Laufe der Zeit folgende Objektive zusammen:

  • CANON EF 24-105mm 1:4 L IS USM
  • CANON EF 28-300mm 1:3.5-6.3 L IS USM
  • CANON EF 100mm 1:2.8 Macro L IS USM

Ich freue mich bereits auf die ersten Aufträge und Kontakte mit Kunden, denn bei der Fotografie ist kein Shooting wie das andere – man muss sich auf die Personen einstellen, die abgelichtet werden und eine positive Stimmung zwischen Fotograf und Kunde soll entstehen. Denn nur so entstehen wirklich gute und authentische Bilder, an denen man viel Freude haben wird.

Die ersten Referenz- und Beispielfotos sind bereits in den Galerien und Projekten hinterlegt, weitere werden demnächst folgen, sobald die entsprechenden Bilder geschossen, bearbeitet und fertiggestellt sind.
